I found out why this happen after disassemble whole fkin watch and lose my warrenty. its because rubber band inside mud-resistant button system. there are three rubber ring. two inner and one outer. outer rubber ring (maybe should call it band) easily snap inside button case and stuck between them. thats why gwg-1000 has sticky button problem.i know the video is not complete and i am sorry as i didn't expect that i would be able to fix it. i am going to try to make another video as soon as i have
#1 · Jan 26, 2022 So have had my GW-5000 for just over 9 years. Been my sole G shock and has probably been off my wrist less the 30mins during this whole time. It gets battered a bit and is probably on its 3rd bezel and strap. Maybe more, I lost count a while back.

I did pushed buttons of 50m WR Casio in the pool back in the days and it's still perfectly fine and working 26 years later.
GW-5000u's hard to press buttons. I got my GW-5000U almost 6 months ago and, coming from the GW5610U, it felt like a really nice upgrade.
